The Mülheim an der Ruhr Art Museum has finally opened its doors to the public again!
At the opening ceremony on May 25th, more than 2,500 visitors came throughout the day to see the exhibitions “Brücke, Bauhaus, Blauer Reiter” and “Sammlung +”, which presented the museum’s new program under the title “Wild at Heart”.
On the square in front of the museum, in the park, in the exhibition rooms and in the painting school, there was a varied program to meet the different needs of visitors - from music acts, to hands-on art activities and (magical) guided tours to talks and creative workshops.
Food trucks and drinks carts ensured the quality of the stay on site, so the whole day in the museum could be an experience.
“We are happy to be back and the many people who have come to celebrate with us walk through the house with a smile… what more could you want?” says Stefanie Kreuzer, director of the Kunstmuseum Mülheim an der Ruhr.
