Located in the museum lobby, the museum shop offers an extensive array of literature on the collection themes and current exhibits. Visitors are invited to browse through a varying selection of postcards, exclusive design objects, and original gift ideas.
Operated on a volunteer basis since 1997 by the Förderkreis für das Kunstmuseum (Friends of the Museum), the shop provides considerable support for the museum’s work. The income generated makes it possible to purchase works of art for the City Collection and to produce the museum’s publications, such as the current catalogue of the collection.
The shop is open when the museum is, and can be accessed without visiting the museum.
