"KuraTeens" - these are art-loving people aged 14 and over who, together with the artist and art educator Tabea Borchardt, the photographer Marie Eberhardt and the art educator Sophia Capone, have been dealing with the subject area of art museums and making exhibitions from January to July 2022.
The Kunstmuseum Mülheim an der Ruhr carried out the project in a local educational partnership with the Junior Uni Ruhr, the Saarn Comprehensive School and the Stadtmitte Youth Centre with the support of the Mülheim an der Ruhr City Library.
Sponsored by the German Museums Association as part of the project "Museum macht stark".
As part of its educational programme, the art museum offers art courses for children, young people and adults under the guidance of experienced art mediators, artists and art educators in the workrooms of the Mülheim an der Ruhr art museum as well as at the two external locations
The Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences and the Kunstmuseum cooperate on a permanent basis - a joint exhibition space at the Parkstadt Mülheim site opens in the summer semester.
