museum_lab@HRW: Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences and the Art Museum are cooperating

A shared exhibition space at the Parkstadt Mülheim location will open in the summer semester. Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences and the Mülheim an der Ruhr Art Museum are officially announcing their permanent cooperation. Dr. Daniela Grobe, Deputy Mayor for Culture of the City of Mülheim an der Ruhr and Dr. Jörn Hohenhaus, Chancellor of Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences signed the cooperation agreement. 

The subject of the cooperation is exhibitions in the entrance area of ​​the new Parkstadt Mülheim location on Wisollstrasse: museum_lab@HRW is the name of the area where exhibitions by young artists will be shown from the summer semester of 2025. The exhibition is being organized by HRW's central equal opportunities officer, Simone Krost, in collaboration with Barbara Walter, who is responsible for education and communication at the art museum. The first exhibition will feature works by the current "Young Art" scholarship holder of the City of Mülheim an der Ruhr, Maria Reneé Morales Garcia. Through this long-term collaboration, two educational actors in the city are networking and thus building bridges between art and science in the city.
